About Legacy Carve Studio – Our Story & Philosophy
Crafting Pieces That Become Heirlooms
Legacy Carve Studio began in a small Connecticut barn with a simple belief: the best gifts are the ones that outlast the moment and tell a story. Our founder, William L. Doheny IV, discovered woodworking during his years as a youth. What started as a passion alongside studies and substitute teaching grew into a full-time craft and business dedicated to making custom woodwork that clients treasure for years.
Using a blend of traditional craftsmanship and precision CNC carving, we transform hardwood and epoxy into bespoke pieces that capture the spirit of milestones and memories. Every plank, color, and finish is selected with care, and every design is executed with your story in mind.
Our Mission: Building Meaningful Connections Through Craft
At Legacy Carve Studio, we aren’t just making cutting boards or plaques. We’re celebrating life’s achievements and the people behind them. Our mission is to:
-
Celebrate Milestones: Whether it’s the closing of a dream home, a university graduation, or a significant business achievement, our pieces mark moments worth remembering.
-
Elevate Branding With Heart: We help professionals stand out by turning their logos or messages into beautifully crafted keepsakes that stay on display long after the transaction is complete.
-
Craft With Purpose: Every item we produce is designed to be durable, functional, and meaningful. We want these gifts to be used daily, admired often and passed down with pride.
